The LM2653MTCX-ADJ/NOPB dc switching regulator is ideal for battery-powered applications because it provides high efficiency power conversion over a 100:1 load range (1.5A to 15 mA). Synchronous rectification can achieve 97% efficiency. Furthermore, the presence of patented current sensing circuitry for current mode control eliminates the need for an external current sensing resistor, which is required by other current-mode DC-DC converters.
